The Playground at Bailey's - family friendly vacation rentalsunshine coast activities:

Access to Halfmoon Bay's Hiking & Mountain Biking Trail System - right from your door!

Did you know that the small community of Halfmoon Bay is not only known for its scenic ocean views and the bay for which it was named? Just behind Bailey's at Welcome Beach lies one of the Coast's most lovely treasures - the Crown Land trail system that leads to Trout Lake, Triangle Lake and miles of biking and hiking excursions.

Bring your mountain bike and see why we're such a draw destination for the mountain biking and racing crowd, or pull on some good sneakers or light hiking shoes, and explore the trails by foot, enjoying hidden benches, rocky staircases Frodo might have found himself in, and sudden creeks.

Many spots on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia are 'locals only' known locations. What better way to explore these areas, learn about the riches of our landscape, than learn from a local? We are happy to provide more information about things to do on the Sunshine Coast of BC.

"What a wonderful place!! I couldn’t have dreamed of a more tranquil place. Evva and Bill are two of the nicest people you will ever meet!!! Thanks for the muffins, the fires, the advice and the company. Looking forward to coming back."

You have such a great place here! We really enjoyed our stay, and wished it could be longer so we could explore the area and spend a day at the beach.
The breakfast was perfect (lots of yummy, healthy choices & wonderful muffins). We will tell our friends and would love to come back.
P.S. Thanks you again for arranging a baby sitter & your recommendations for restaurants." - Julie, Dave & Mathew – South Surrey, B.C.
